Event Details

KIS, a leading professional network integration firm, would like to invite you to attend an information security seminar discussing the latest information security trends, risks and threats as well as the best defense techniques for the new decade.

Virtualization, cloud computing, social networking, cyber workplaces; these mechanisms present a new and effective way of doing business, but not without a cost. The new decade thus far has seen major information security crimes committed against such hallowed institutions as Google, American Express, Chase and Citibank to name a few.

This is timely evidence that no business is sacred or untouchable. The truth is, size does not matter. If your company is connected to the internet and has computing resources, it is a potential target for crime and fraud. It is not enough for businesses to simply have awareness of security events. They must be able to anticipate the thought process of the criminal mind in order to effectively protect their interests.

In this workshop, the following topics and defense strategies will be covered:

  • The new techniques of financial fraud
  • The dangers of social networking to enterprise networks
  • How to recognize dangerous events before they manifest into quantifiable loss
  • Open Q&A
